a resplendence of colour (via reciprocity and fotografĂa)
twisting light #21.
another experiment in colour.these are analog images formed directly on to film without the use of a camera lens (in the same way as a photogram), of the refraction patterns of light passing through formed and shaped plastics. normally a b/w image, colour has been added directly into the plastic. the fine detail of the diffraction patterns can be seen when viewed large.

"what is psychologically real--the small print of consciousness, the corners and vagaries of thinking that when you read them in another writer, and they are done well, you just know they are right. Not only because you had this thought to yourself, but because that way of thinking seems so ineradicably human."
-Ian McEwan

we found a gourd too
at first I thought it was a coconut
we think it was leftover from the farmers market,
but at the time it seemed
out of place
we then were walking down a hill and threw it
we were bowling for people
Luckily, she threw a gutterball
one time, the gourd was out of control
it just rolled out of our sight
luckily, we were fast enough
the end.

"Rather like one who, delighting in a divine distraction or sunken in the seas of his own soul, in whose ear the clock has just thundered with all its force its twelve strokes of noon, suddenly wakes up, and asks himself,"What has in point of fact just struck?" so do we at times rub afterwards, as it were, our puzzled ears, and ask in complete astonishment and complete embarrassment, "Through what have we in point of fact just lived?" further,"Who are we in point of fact?" and count, after they have struck, as I have explained, all the twelve throbbing beats of the clock of our experience, of our life, oh our being --ah!-- and count wrong in the endeavour."
–Friedrich Nietzche, The Genealogy of Morals (1913): p. 1 (Dover Thrift eds. 1968)(HBS transl.)
